Panchkarma Therapy is a process for detoxifying and
rejuvenating the body and mind. It restores balance and well-being and strength
the immune system. It is an essence of five therapies that are bedrock on Ayurveda
law prakriti, imbalances, digestive fire, age, immune status, health conditions
& many other factors. These Therapies are utilized according to body needs.

Let us understand Panchakarma (five Karma) in detail
VAMANA or SNEHAPANA-
Vaman is therapeutic vomiting. It is medicated emesis. Vaman is done to reduce
toxins from the respiratory and gastrointestinal tract. It is mainly for kapha
dosha and also done for preventive & curative purposes.
VIRECHANA- It
is a process of purgation induced by Ayurvedic medicines; it is specifically
done to eliminate of exces Pitta Dosha from the body.
NASYA - Nasya
is a therapy in which herbal infused oil is used for treating respiratory tract
nasal cavity. It is used for sinus, nose, throat, and head.
BASTI- It is
mainly to balance the Vata dosha. This therapy is used for cleaning the toxins
through the colon.
SWEDANA - This Therapy is done as the main treatment
procedure, depending upon your condition. It is a process to stimulate your
sweat glands to increase perspiration and circulation. This therapy reduces
vata and kapha dosha and also helps to relive from pain, stiffness, heaviness
and coldness in your body.
Some other Ayurvedic Treatments are also included with
Panchakarma. They are Abhyangam, Pizhichil, Sirodhara and Udvartnam etc. These
are implemented to enhance the detoxification process
